Forecast said rain for Friday and Saturday, so I planned on finally getting our painting project done over the two days.
But I woke up this morning to beautiful spring weather. Of course, that meant I *had* to go for a ride first.
This shot was taken on my normal 23mi training loop, which I did in reverse today. Saw more cyclists out than I could count. It was a beautiful ride.
Now, to get out the paint and brushes. No racing this weekend, but looking forward to this project being off my back.
And I'm looking forward to racing next Saturday...
Have a great weekend!
It was definitely a gorgeous day to get out and ride. Hoping that the forecasters are right and by morning the rain will let up so I can get out again tomorrow.

Parallel worlds? The Fiance and I painted all day yesterday. I forewent my ride, but used a bit of a chest cold as the real excuse... Sadly, that chest cold kept me in bed this morning and away from the crit I planned to go watch. Ah well, between your photos and Cycling Tips Blog's video, I can wait another day to watch one live. The season's still in full swing down here. It almost runs into cyclocross season. Paris-Roubaix on TV tomorrow!

Yeah, the variable weather of April in New England. Thu. was beautiful, and my last two clients canceled, so I bailed and rode hard for just over an hour, thinking I'd do the same on either Fri or Sat, and recover a little in between when the weather was crappy. But there was enough clearing each day for a ride, I rode too hard each day... and today it's supposed to be nice again and I need to recover! Hard to plan in early spring.
